Women’s football is throwing a party in South Florida with the World Sevens Football tournament arriving in Fort Lauderdale. The event features a $5 million prize pool, seven-a-side matches on a half-sized pitch, and nonstop attacking play.

Teams from across the Americas, including Kansas City Current, San Diego Wave FC, Club America, Tigres UANL, Flamengo, and Deportivo Cali Femenino, will compete over December 5–7. W7F emphasizes entertainment with fast matches, rolling substitutions, and no offside rule, creating a festival atmosphere for fans.

Beyond the competition, the organizers are building a fan experience that includes live music, a goal line party deck, and a vibrant crowd. The goal is to elevate the women’s game, showcase talent, and create opportunities with significant prize money.

W7F is backed by prominent figures in the sport and aims to innovate beyond the 11v11 norm. With global broadcasting partners and a high-energy format, the tournament seeks to bring a new level of excitement and visibility to women’s football.
